MARQUETTE, Mich. — Northern Michigan University’s Olympic Training Site is hosting a two-week Greco-Roman Junior World Team Camp. The camp started on Monday, July 23 and concludes on Friday, Aug. 1.

NMU-OTS has two residents on the world team, Arthur Carmona and Alejandro Sancho. Both athletes made the team by winning their respective weight classes at the USA World Team Trials in Madison, Wis. earlier this summer. Carmona will compete at 55 kilograms and Sancho will compete at 66kg.

After the camp, the world team will travel to Zagreb, Croatia on Aug. 5 and 6 for the FILA Junior World Championships.

NMU-OTS resident Greco-Roman Wrestling coach Rob Hermann will be coaching the world team.
