The Special Events Committee (SEC) is looking for motivated and enthusiastic students to plan WinterFest 2013: Chilly Nights & Carnival Lights. 2013 WinterFest Entry Forms are Due by February 12!Do you want to be a part of the fun and chilly events of WinterFest? If yes, get a team together, fill out the required entry forms to 1205 of the University Center by February 12 at 5 p.m. The WinterFest events that require an entry form to compete are Clue, the Banner Competition, the Airband Competition, Broomball (through Rec Sports) and Human Sled-Dog Races. Step Right Up" and show your Wildcat Pride with Spirit Police!From February 5 - 14, Spirit Police will be going on at NMU. The Spirit Police will be ticketing students showing school spirit by either wearing the NMU 2012 -2013 Spirit Shirts, green and gold, or any Northern apparel. If you are caught showing school spirit, you will receive a ticket. Tickets are good, because if a ticket is redeemed, he/she redeeming the ticket will receive a FREE WinterFest shirt OR WinterFest mug! Visit the WinterFest Spirit Police website to see where and when tickets can be redeemed for prizes. So, if you want to earn a prize, be bold and stand out with your true Wildcat Pride so that the Spirit Police can spot you on campus! |
