The members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.

Student Organization: Gymnastics Club
|Description||The NMU Gymnastics club is coed and open to all students of all skill levels - no experience is required. We practice at PEAK Gymnastics and Fitness on Wright Street and practices cost $5 each. A membership fee will also be required. The purpose of the Gymnastics Club is to: provide a safe environment for students to practice gymnastics, teach important aspects of gymnastics that are inherent to practicing this sport such as (but not limited to) body awareness and control, persistence, and confidence; and to promote awareness of gymnastics and its benefits.
