As a student organization affiliated with the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center (UMBTC) we will strive to help organize fundraising events like the Hope Starts Here Challenge, as well as our own fundraising for the UMBTC. Another goal we share with our research affiliate is raising awareness of brain tumors, specifically glioblastoma, the cancer which is the main focus of the UMBTC. All students may become members, however members of the group who do research at the UMBTC will have preference over non-researchers for leadership roles as officers. |
