Student Organization: Tree Musketeers

Description There are a number of purposes for the Tree Musketeers: our first priority -- creating a social environment for tree climbing, pingling trees (transferring from tree to tree via branches) and other tree related activities. Another objective is to improve the skills of tree climbers and to familiarize them with the woods of Marquette. Expeditions will include the art of pingling, along with speed climbing, racing up trees, exploring different kinds of trees and other new tree activities that members might suggest. Aside from our tree expeditions, the club will have weekly meetings to discuss technique as well as vote on locations for future adventures. Every week we will also converse dendrology and which type of tree is our personal favorite. The only requirement is that all members must be NMU students. Get back to your roots...CLIMB TREES!
