The goal of the Disc Golf Club is to create an organization that brings students together through the sport of disc golf. Our club will also work together through community organizing/fundraising to expand disc golf’s footprint in the Marquette region and to one day have an 18-hole course that can be home to NMU’s own disc golf team. We will promote the sport, participate in community service through cleaning and maintaining the course that we do have and use, hold local competitions/leagues and gain public awareness/support of our sport through our positive interactions, works, and events. The club will also work to travel to disc golf courses and participate in tournaments that are outside of our local area. |
