Northern Arts and Entertainment, recipients of the 2005-2006 Organization of the Year Award (University Funded) and the 2005-2006 Diversity Program/Project of the Year Award for Step Afrika!, is known for bringing anything and everything from the entertainment field to Northern Michigan University’s campus. Members select, plan, promote, and produce entertainment events at NMU. Past programs have included Chinese Golden Acrobats, the Harlem Globetrotters, the Goo Goo Dolls, Train, Lewis Black, Second City, Hinder and Theory of a Deadman, Bo Burnham, Stephen Lynch, Broken Lizard, Third Eye Blind, David Garibaldi, 3OH!3, Chiddy Bang, Craig Robinson, Mayday Parade, Big Gigantic and a variety of other artists, concerts, and comedians.
