Description	The NMU College Democrats strive to promote democratic ideals on campus and throughout the community. We participate in and help organize debates among the political organizations on campus, work to bring speakers who share our values, register voters and maintain a visible role in the community through acts of volunteerism. We also meet frequently with candidates for political office (on the state and local level) and elected officials. Any student who enjoys politics, is curious about the Democratic Party, or is simply hoping to expand their network is encouraged to attend one of our weekly meetings.
