Students for Sustainable LivingThe members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.

Efforts put forth by student organizations are recognized annually at the Leadership Recognition Banquet.

Student Organization: Cru/Campus Crusade For Christ

Description Cru/Campus Crusade for Christ is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Whether you are curious to explore who Jesus is or consider yourself a follower of Christ, you are always welcome. Come and visit our weekly meeting on Thursdays at 8 p.m. in the University Center. Our heart is one of community, purpose and growth. You will find opportunities to explore what the Bible has to say, come to know God more, be involved in authentic community, connect with a mentor, grow in leadership, and have fun.
