Description	The GRADUATE WRITERS' ASSOCIATION (GWA) is an organization designed to promote the writings of graduate students across the university by sponsoring readings and activities meant to share with the public at large. Any graduate student from any department at NMU may be a member of GWA. Typically, GWA sponsors literary readings, but we also have executed protest poetry readings and lent our name to activities meant to help fund graduate students attending academic conferences.
