The CRIMINAL JUSTICE ASSOCIATION (CJA) is open to all NMU students interested in criminal justice. The majority of CJA's action takes place at weekly meetings, which are open to all current and prospective members. These meetings often include demonstrations by guest speakers, who share valuable and interesting information, as well as relevant life experiences with CJA members. CJA has done a ride-along with the Grand Rapids Police Department, toured the Marquette Branch Prison, and has yearly paintball outings. We have also worked security at several NMU concerts including Ludacris and Counting Crows, as well as various smaller concerts and venues.
