ASNMU (ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY) is the student government of Northern Michigan University and recipient of the Program/Project of the Year Award for 2003-2004 for their Higher Education Letter Program and 2001-2002 for their Consignment Book Sale. We provide an official voice through which student opinion is expressed. ASNMU is made up of three branches: The Executive (President, Vice President, Chief of Staff, and Treasurer); the Legislative (ten representatives for Academic Affairs, and eleven representatives for Student Affairs); and Judicial (ASJ). There are a multitude of committees ranging from the Student Finance Committee (SFC) to Service Charge Review Committee.
