Accreditation

Northern’s bachelor of science in nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, D.C. 20036-1120, 202-463-6930.

The MSN program received full, 10-year accreditation (2003-2013) status from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). CCNE is the accrediting agency recognizing professional baccalaureate and graduate programs in nursing in the United States. The curriculum is consistent with national guidelines and standards published by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF).
