CPR and First Aid Certification-Adult & Child

Adult and Child CPR/AED & First Aid for the Lay Responder

This course will teach members of the general public to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants and provide care of victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Course is great for Student Teachers seeking CPR Certification.


Certification Requirements
- Attend and participate in one of the course sessions
- Demonstrate competency in all required skills listed on the skills checklist
- Participate in all skills sessions
- Pass each section of the written exam with a score of 80% or better

Certification Issued & Validity Period
CPR/AED Adult - 2 years and First Aid - 2 years

Cost
$65 for Rec Members
$80 for Non-Members
