Do Broken Bones Make for Good Art?

Northern Michigan University is holding an anti-bullying art contest with entries creating the "Sticks and Stones" exhibit to be held at the Student Art Gallery.

The contest is open to all NMU students, regardless of major. The submission fee is $1 and all medium types are eligible. The submission period is Feb. 12-21. Submit your art to the Student Art Gallery (SAG) in the University Center. Artwork MUST be the original work of the contest entrant.

The exhibit begins Feb. 22 and runs through March 21.

Prizes for the art contest are $150 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for the people's choice award.

What's your artistic anti-bullying message? Add it to the "Sticks and Stones" collection.
