International Education Week Activities

International Education Week (IEW) is the week of Nov. 18-22. The International Programs Office (IPO) will be hosting several activities during the week including an International Film Screening: Solar Mamas (a couple of NMU students will participate in panel discussion) on Monday, Nov. 18 at 7pm at Mead Auditorium and International Trivia Game Night in Whitman Commons on Tuesday Nov. 19 at 7:30pm (*you will have chance to win door prize and game winner prize!).

A list of events with description is available at IPO web site: http://www.nmu.edu/internationalprograms/node/235

As part of IEW events, IPO would like to know your favorite foreign film and/or your favorite ethnic dish/recipe. This is meant to be a fun survey, so that the NMU community can expand their interests in regard to foreign films and dishes. Please also include special meaning or memory from your suggested film and/or dish.

We are planning on putting selected films and dishes on the IPO website and Facebook page. If you include your name with the survey response, we will include your name when posting your response.

Favorite Foreign Film: (If you can, please give Title, Country, and comments)

Favorite ethnic Dish: (Dish Name, Country, Recipe#, Special meaning or memory)

#Recipe optional

Please reply with your answers, or if you have questions, contact mkaisho@nmu.edu.

I appreciate your support in advance.

Sincerely,

Manato
