2 MyNMU Self Service and Banner Maintenance periods

To improve system response-time and performance Banner is being moved to new hardware. This move will require system downtime as follows:

5 p.m. Friday, 7/19 until 5 p.m. Saturday, 7/20

Banner INB (banner.nmu.edu) and homegrown applications including Motorcycle Safety, Appraisal, Workforce Development, Recreation Memberships, College for Kids, Prospect, Orientation, SA Evaluations will be unavailable.

Note: we know tuition bills are being sent out 7/19 – e-Bill and MyNMU are not affected.

5 p.m. Friday, 7/26 until 5 p.m. Saturday, 7/27

The entire Banner system will be unavailable including INB, MyNMU self-service option tabs, all reporting, and homegrown applications listed above (e-bill will be available but won’t be able to display current payment/ charge information from Banner).

NMU will never ask for your password.

If you ever have a question about the status of your NMU account, log into http://myuser.nmu.edu/user to view the account status.

Typically NMU, your bank, your credit cards, Facebook, PayPal, eBay, the IRS, federal and state governments will not ask for any of your personal information via email. When in doubt don't use the link from such a message.
Insted log into a known good web address for the service to see if the same request is referenced there.
