Cuban Film Festival
Join the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures this Wednesday, March 13 for the launch of its Winter 2013 Cuban Film Series! This week's film is entitled "La ultima cena" ("The Last Supper"). Read below for details.

Summary: The film, based on a true historical event, tells the story of a sugarcane plantation owner during the Spanish colonial period in Cuba. He decides to recreate the Biblical Last Supper using twelve of his slaves, hoping to thus teach the slaves about Christianity. Directed by Tomas Gutierrez Alea.
