Tri Beta Honor Society Presents: The Biological Research Seminar Series
Have you ever wondered what areas of research your biology professors and graduate students are currently involved in? Tri-Beta Biological Honors Society will be hosting the Biological Research Seminar Series; this exciting seminar series will explore current areas of biology research here at Northern Michigan University. This event is free and open to the public and students.
The seminars will be on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in West Science, room 2904 on the following dates:
March 12th
March 19th
March 26th
April 2nd
April 9th
Graduate students, Kristin Denryter and Keith Sabin will give our first seminars. Kristin will present on "Why an ecosystem services-based approach works for biodiversity conservation planning" and Keith will be presenting on "Induction of T cell apoptosis by Glioblastoma multiforme."
