The Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation(PEIF)announces the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED course will be offered on the following dates:

Course #1 – Saturday, February 23, 2013, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Location: (PEIF) Room #242
Registration deadline: Thursday, February 21st.

Course #2 – Saturday, March 23, 2013, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Location: PEIF Room #242
Registration deadline: Thursday, March 21st.

Course #3 – Saturday, April 13, 2013, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Location: PEIF Room #242
Registration deadline: Thursday, April 11th.

The course will include Heartsaver First Aid and Adult, Infant and Child CPR and AED.

Important note for Education Majors: Successful completion of this course satisfies the First Aid and CPR requirement for new teacher certification in the State of Michigan.

Course fee = $60.00*
*Full-time NMU students/faculty/staff receive a $10 discount on their course registration for a total of $50.

Textbook fee = $13.95 (Available at the NMU Bookstore)
