If you are planning a study abroad for Summer, Fall, or Academic Year F13/W14 AND you are currently Pell Grant eligible/recipient, then you may qualify to apply for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship - awards of $3000, $5000 and up to $8000 (when combined with a critical needs language). The deadline for on-line applications is March 5. Certification by the NMU International Programs office and Financial Aid Office is required. You must have an eligible study abroad program selected and a cost-of-attendance budget on file with the NMU Financial Aid office prior to submitting your Gilman application (online - see details at: www.iie.org/gilman).
