Our office has received the following apprenticeship opportunity:
Ironworkers Local Union 8 Apprenticeship Opportunity (Job ID: 18846)

Compensation: Beginning Ironworker Apprentices make $15.36 per hour plus benefits.
Times Needed: A four year - 7000 hour program
6500 hours of On the Job Learning
500 hours of Paid Related Training
115 hours of Unpaid Related Training (Minimum)
Qualifications:
Must furnish a birth certificate
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Appear for an interview when notified
Be able to legally work in the State of Michigan
Be at least 18 years of age at time of application
Must provide at least two years of high school transcripts
Have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required
Take a scheduled aptitude test and have a qualifying score on the test
Have a valid driver's license at the time of placement or proven ability to get to and from work and school
