It's not too late to collect canned food and win money!

Interested in winning money for your organization and appearing on TV-6, plus making a difference in our local community?

If you live on-campus or are part of an student organization, it's not too late to start collecting cans for the Can-a-Thon competition!

Collect as many non-perishable goods as you can and bring them to your collection site. The competition is by house, on-campus apartment area, or student organization.

If you are in a house in Hunt, VA, Gant, Spalding, Payne, Halverson, Magers, Meyland, or part of an on-campus apartment area, bring your non-perishable food items to the Payne/Halverson lobby on Tuesday, December 4th from 6-8pm.

If you are in a house in Spooner, West, or part of a student organization, bring your items to the UC Atrium, outside the bookstore, on Wednesday, December 5th from 6-8pm.

First place for each division wins $100 and an appearance on the news! Second place for each division wins $50.

And just a reminder: If you are participating in the competition, DO NOT deposit your food items in the white boxes around campus. These are for general donation and WILL NOT be counted toward the competition. These boxes will be collected on Thursday, December 6th.
