Donate canned food! Be on TV and win money!

Join us for yet another awesome annual event! This is the 30th anniversary of the TV-6 Can-a-Thon canned food drive and we're holding a competition to celebrate!

There are two divisions in the competition: downcampus houses and on-campus apartments & Spooner Hall houses, West Hall houses, and student organizations.

The group that collects the most canned food items from each division will win $100 for their house or student organization and will appear on TV-6 with the NMU Volunteer Center staff.
Second place will win $50 for their house or student organization.

Downcampus houses and on-campus apartments canned goods collection date: Tuesday, Dec. 4th from 6-8 in the Payne/Halverson lobby.

Spooner Hall, West Hall, and student organizations canned goods collection date: Wednesday Dec. 5th from 6-8 in the UC Atrium.

If you are participating in the competition, please hang onto your food until you bring it to your designated collection event. Otherwise, there will be boxes available all over campus to deposit your donations!

All food that is donated goes right to the Marquette community food banks, making this a truly great local event.

Start collecting your food beginning Friday, November 12th!
