Native American Student
Empowerment Initiative
The Native American Student Empowerment Initiative (NASEI) was designed by and for Native American students
to provide opportunities for social and cultural interaction,
to build a 'Native community' on campus, and
to provide service learning projects to obtain leadership and citizenship skills while promoting academic progress and success.
The Native American Student Empowerment Initiative is presented by the NMU Center for Native American Studies and funded with grants from the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.
