Sharon Green was hired as instructor on a two-year term contract beginning Fall 2005. She teaches Music in the Elementary School, Sight Singing and Ear Training 1, Voice Class and private voice lessons. Sharon is retired from the Marquette Area Public Schools, where she taught for 31 years. She was selected as Michigan Teacher of the Year in 1995 and, more recently, was MENC Michigan Outstanding Music Educator in 2001 and Marquette Outstanding Arts Educator in 2002.

- Presently co-authoring (with Denise Minter) a book entitled The "Mint-Green" Method of Teaching Choral Music
