Language Tables

NMU’s Modern Languages and Literatures Department holds language tables for French and German.  Language tables allow majors and non-majors to informally gather for food, fun and practice of the language.

Stammtisch, an informal German conversation group, meets weekly on Thursdays (starting Thursday, Jan. 24) from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Board Room of the Landmark Inn.

La Table Française is an informal French conversation group. All levels of French speakers and listeners are welcome.  Please join us for a weekly adventure to the French speaking world without leaving Marquette.

Topics include travel, cuisine, films, art, culture, literature, and much, much more. La Table Française is brought to you by the French Program at NMU and Academic Service Learning (ASL).
