An Educational Trip

The German club traveled to Chicago, IL on December 1st and returned December 4th, to explore the Christkindlmarket (German Winter Christmas) in the Daley Plaza.  The goal was to offer NMU students a chance to speak with vendors from Germany.  This Christmas holiday market takes place from Thanksgiving to Christmas, and offers handmade crafts and gifts from Germany, as well as authentic food and Christmas market atmosphere not found anywhere else.

Students also visited the field museum, the Chicago Art Institute, and the Shed Aquarium.
