Sara Smolucha is from Winfield, IL, a small town about 30 miles west of Chicago. She is currently a senior at Northern pursuing degrees in both Spanish and Nursing. She has spent time abroad in Costa Rica, completing a full immersion program, as well as Honduras as a participant in the nursing program faculty-led study abroad through Northern. She loves the Latin American culture, people, music, and food. In her free time, Sara enjoys exploring the Upper Peninsula and being outdoors.
