Marina

Marina Macias Sevde was raised in Salamanca, a medium-sized city in western Spain. It’s a beautiful place where people can walk to every corner of the city without using a car and enjoy the fantastic views, such as the river and cathedrals.

Marina has two brothers, one older than her and the other one younger. Her family lived in Spain until summer of 2010 when they all moved to Michigan. Marina’s mother studied at Northern Michigan University and encouraged her to choose NMU as well. She is a junior math major. She loves swimming and enjoys outdoor sports.
