Winter 2013 Workshops: Throughout the semester the McNair office provides a wide variety of workshops to help our students prepare for research, graduate school and much more.

Wednesday, February 13: NMU Summer Job Fair

• If you are staying in Marquette this summer to take classes or do research, this is an event you won't want to miss. There is no cost to attend and you can learn about jobs that are open in the area.

February 15-17: UP 200 Volunteering

• The McNair Scholars Program would like to help out this great event this year and volunteer on Friday, the first night of the race. More information will be provided during the first workshop of the winter semester, but make sure you look at your calendar's now so you can participate!

• Each year NMU celebrates the great research that both undergraduate and graduate students at NMU are doing and McNair Scholars who completed research the previous summer are expected to take part in this. Keep your eyes open for information about registering and preparing your poster or oral presentationn.
