Thank you for your interest in the McNair Scholars Program. The McNair program is currently accepting applications from students interested in joining the program for the Winter 2017 semester.
Eligible students who would like to apply to the program should stop by the McNair office and speak with a staff member.
To apply, complete the following steps:
- Complete online application and personal statements. (Contact a McNair staff member for a password.) Apply here
- Income Verification which can be 1. A signed copy of your parent’s most recent tax return (or your own if considered independent) or 2. a copy of your student aid report from the FAFSA website. *Deliver to McNair office
- Unofficial transcripts *Deliver to McNair office
- One faculty recommendation. Download faculty recommendation form here.
Faculty recommendation forms should be submitted by the recommending faculty member. If your recommending faculty member has any questions, have them contact our office at extension 2590. A review of all completed application packets is done by the McNair Scholars Selection Committee in November and applicants are informed of their application status in December.
Please note, all forms must be submitted to the McNair office (145 Whitman Hall) by 5:00pm Monday, October 31st.
