Apply to be a McNair Scholar

Thank you for your interest in the McNair Scholars Program. At this time, the McNair program is no longer currently accepting applications for students interested in joining the program for the Winter 2013 semester.

Eligible students who would like to apply to the program in the future are encouraged to stop by the McNair office and speak with a staff member.

In order for your application to be considered, the following items must be included:

• the application and personal statements
• a signed copy of your or your parent’s most recent tax return transcript
• a copy of your unofficial transcript
• a recommendation form from one faculty member

A review of all completed application packets is done by the McNair Scholars Review Committee in November  and applicants are informed of their acceptance in December.

Please note, all forms must be submitted to the McNair office (2804 West Science) in hard copy format.
