Two familiar faces have earned dean appointments at Northern Michigan University.
David Rayome is dean of the College of Business, after serving in that capacity on an interim basis. He joined the NMU faculty in 1991 and, prior to his administrative post, held the rank of full professor and was chair of the Graduate Programs Committee. Rayome also directed Northern’s MBA program when it was re-established and launched in 2010.
Kerri Schuiling will return to NMU as the new dean of the College of Health Sciences and Professional Studies, beginning July 1. She had served as head of NMU's School of Nursing and associate dean of the College of Professional Studies before leaving the area to become dean of Oakland University’s School of Nursing.
