To Write Love On Her Arms is a non-profit group that works to help people who experience depression, addiction, self-injury and suicidal tendencies. Originally founded as the simple attempt to tell the story of a friend in need, it quickly became an Internet phenomenon with the aid of MySpace and is now a global movement. The organization has donated $850,000 to fund treatment and has been featured on NBC Nightly News, in Rolling Stone Magazine and elsewhere.
The event is hosted by Platform Personalities and paid for by the Student Activity Fee.
