The Northern Michigan University English department will host "Something Wicked this Way Comes–Poems that Haunt" from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Ore Dock Brewing Company. This free event is part of the Bards & Brews creative reading series held every third Thursday of each month.
This month’s reading will feature two writers. NMU assistant professor of English Patricia Killelea will read from her poetry collection, Counter-glow. Killelea’s poetry appears in literary journals such as Quarterly West, Waxwing and The Common. NMU graduate assistant Sarah Ryan will perform pieces that have been featured in publications including Tinderbox, Slice Magazine and the Fairy-tale Review.
