NMU Announces Presidential Scholars Competition Winners

Northern Michigan University has announced the results of its Presidential Scholars Competition for high school seniors. Each year, NMU invites academically talented students to compete for the Harden Scholarship, which covers full tuition, room and board; and the Presidential Scholarship, which covers full tuition. Both are awarded over eight consecutive semesters.

Students who will receive the Harden Scholarship when they enroll at NMU for the fall 2016 semester are:

Michigan

Belmont: Tyler Penrod, Rockford Senior High School;

Caledonia: Tyler Devos, Caledonia High School;

Conklin: Olivia Lemieux, Coopersville High School;

Kalamazoo: Kevin Miltenberger, Otsego High School;

Marquette: Samuel Williams, Marquette Senior High School;

Marshall: Alec Kraushaar, Marshall High School;

Midland: Julia Quinn, Midland High School;

West Branch: Haley Anderson, Ogemaw Heights High School;

Illinois

Chicago: Sarah Mullen, Northside College Prep High School;

Minnesota

Prior Lake: Jamie Kimble, Prior Lake Senior High School;
