MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University’s music department will present its annual vocal concert, “I Have a Song to Sing,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, in Reynolds Recital Hall. The public is invited to this free event. Eighteen NMU voice students will perform classical and light art songs, opera arias and duets representing a variety of styles, languages and moods. Some are doing so in preparation for an upcoming statewide vocal competition. NMU Professor Rob Engelhart will briefly introduce each piece. Nancy Redfern and Lynne Koski-Lanczy will serve as accompanists.
