Northern Michigan University will host a “passport day” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, in the lower level of the Learning Resources Center. The event will offer a one-stop opportunity to complete the application and obtain passport photos. Individuals will need to bring the following materials: proof of U.S. citizenship in the form of a previous passport or certified birth certificate; and proof of identity in the form of a previous passport, naturalization certificate or valid driver’s license, military ID or government ID. Marquette Wallpaper and Paint will take two passport photos at a cost of $10.60. Other costs are $75 for the U.S. Department of State and $25 for Peter White Public Library, the administrator. Separate checks or exact cash are advised.
