The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning organization will offer a tour of the southern Upper Peninsula as its “End of Summer Celebration” event.

Other stops include the Peshtigo Fire Museum in Peshtigo, Wis., and the Four Seasons Resort near Beecher. If time permits, the tour will also include a view of the Iron Mountain area from the top of the Pine Mountain Ski Slide and a visit to Famers Restaurant, where the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame is located.

Lunch will be Dutch treat at Schloegel’s Bayview Restaurant on the waterfront in Menominee. Dinner will not be provided, so participants are encouraged to bring a snack.
