NCLL PRESENTS ‘HISTORY OF MARQUETTE MOUNTAIN’

            The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will hold its annual meeting from 6:30-7 p.m., Thursday May 22, at the Marquette Mountain Ski Lodge. Light refreshments will be served and voting for new members for the board of directors will take place. A presentation on the history of Marquette Mountain will follow the meeting at 7 p.m. Bob Brebner, one of the original developers, will give the presentation.

            Marquette Mountain is a major area attraction and economic asset to the community. Brebner will tell the story of how the ski hill evolved from Cliff’s Ridge to the present-day Marquette Mountain.
