MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will host a biology seminar titled “The Effects of Selective Moose Herbivory on Savanna Formation in Isle Royale National Park” at 3 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Mead Auditorium.
Liza Gorkiewicz, an NMU master’s degree candidate, will present. She will discuss the impact that selective moose feeding has had on the flat grassland formation at Isle Royale.
