MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a discussion of the Upper Peninsula’s weather history from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 23, in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Karl Bohnak, TV 6 meteorologist, will discuss his new book titled So Cold a Sky…Upper Michigan Weather History and tell stories of the U.P.’s biggest storms and how residents coped with them.
He will also talk about the meteorology of some of the Earth’s major weather events, such as El Nino and global warming.
Bohnak will sign copies of his book after the program.
