MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will host a psychology seminar titled “Behavioral and Neurochemical Characteristics of Antipsychotic Drugs” from 3:10-4:15 p.m. Friday, April 21, in Gries Hall room 167.
Adam Joseph Prus from Virginia Commonwealth University will present. Prus will address the main theories for atypical antipsychotic actions and present methods that are used to elucidate antipsychotic effects. He will also discuss neurotensin, a peptide that may produce atypical antipsychotic effects through a unique mechanism.
