MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Raising Trout for Michigan’s Inland Waters—Brook, Lake, and Splake” from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, April 25, at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources fish hatchery, located at 488 Cherry Creek Road in Marquette.
Jim Aho, fisheries biologist, will lead a tour of the hatchery and discuss how fish are produced for stocking in rivers and lakes. As most of the tour will be outside, participants are asked to dress for the weather.
