MARQUETTE – The hospitality management program at Northern Michigan University will present its 12th annual main event titled “Sweet Home Chicago” at 7 p.m. Friday, April 21, in the Jacobetti Center commons area.
The event will feature Chicago-themed entertainment and cuisine, including a Blues Brothers act and six-course gourmet dinner. A social hour will begin at 6 p.m. Dinner and wine will be served at 7 p.m.
“Sweet Home Chicago” was planned by students from NMU’s banquets and catering class, and produced with assistance from other hospitality management students and faculty.
This event is open to the general public. Tickets are $75 per person. All proceeds will be contributed to the American Culinary Federation Upper Michigan Chapter, the David Sonderschafer Scholarship, the Thaddeus Bogdan Scholarship, and the hospitality management program.
