NCLL PRESENTS SENIOR CITIZEN DRIVING CLASS

MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present an AARP driving class for senior citizens from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10, at First United Methodist Church in Marquette.

Presenters Hank Ford and Don Balmer will discuss changes in the body that occur in individuals over 50, and explain how those changes affect driving ability. The class will also review the traffic rules and regulations most frequently violated by senior citizens, and address deciding when to retire from driving. It is recommended for senior citizens to take this class every three years as a review.

There is a $10 registration fee, which will be collected at the first session. To register, contact the NCLL office at 227-2979. For more information, contact Balmer at 249-1273.
