MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a pottery demonstration from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the residence of Patrick Dragon at 436 W. Bluff St. in Marquette.
Dragon, a Northern Michigan University graduate and internationally recognized artist, will demonstrate the art and craft of making pottery. Dragon’s bowls are in the permanent collections of the DeVos Art Museum and the White House in Washington D.C.
The cost is $4 for NCLL members and $7 for nonmembers. There is a class size limit of 15, and the registration deadline is Friday, Feb. 24. To register, contact the NCLL office at 227-2979. For more information, contact the class liaison at 249-3229.
