SPECIATION SEMINAR AT NMU

            MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will host a biology seminar titled “The Genomics of Speciation: Studies in Mice and Flies” at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in Mead Auditorium.

            Kate Teeter from Duke University in Durham, N.C. will give the presentation. She will discuss speciation, which is the evolutionary formation of a new species, and how it pertains to mice and flies. The general public is invited to this free event.
