MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Ghana through the Eyes of a Peace Corps Volunteer’s Parents” from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in room 101B of the Superior Dome.
Tom and Sharon Rice will share their experiences visiting their daughter Andrea, who teaches junior high school through the Peace Corps in Biapka, Ghana. They will discuss having to endure temperatures of over 100 degrees and living without any water, electricity, or contact with larger towns.
