MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University will offer a senior exercise class during the winter 2006 semester, which begins Jan. 16 and ends April 29. The class will be held from 10-10:50 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in room 130 of the Physical Education Instructional Facility (PEIF).
The program emphasizes enjoyable and efficient activities – including stretching and muscle toning – specifically designed to meet the needs of senior citizens. Participants 62 years of age or older qualify for the senior citizen scholarship program at NMU, which enables them to enroll free of charge.
